Abstract

For the development of the work environment, one of the themes that has become quite relevant is motivation, because if individuals are motivated they will generate better results. Thus, the theme of this research is the importance of motivation in the work environment and its influence. Thus, the following question arises: what is the importance of motivation in the work environment and its influence? And it aims to identify what leads the individual to be motivated in the work environment and to verify the influence of motivation in the work environment. The study used as one of the theoretical foundations Maslow's Theory of Needs and the theory of two factors. Therefore, the methodology of this research aimed to seek studies on the subject of this article, and the information collected came from books, magazine articles, among others. Thus, this research is a bibliographic review of a qualitative nature. To verify the results, the work found that the motivation comes from the employee himself, and the leader can participate in the motivational influence of the same. Therefore, from this research, it is concluded that motivation contributes to better performance, thus affecting the results
