Abstract

This monograph has the general objective of analyzing the relationship between science, technology, the environment and society, in the light of current literature and the causes and consequences that they generate among themselves, understanding the problems and impacts of science and technology in the relationship between society and environment. This work brings as a research problem the following question: what are the impacts of science and technology on the relationship between society and environment? To carry out this study, it uses the technique and method to validate information and bibliography. Thus, it fits as being of exploratory level, with the type of bibliographic research, qualitative, and content analysis. Through this search procedure, 64 studies/publications were initially identified, and of these, 18 were potentially eligible for inclusion in the RSL, where all are articles. Of these 18, 9 were found with the word CTS and these were analyzed, read and examined their abstracts to be listed in the RSL, as they are in line with the focus of this research. Then, the data was synthesized in a table with reference to the work, objective, research, methodology, results and main findings and conclusions. And after identifying these data, they will be listed in the results section. This study made it possible to verify that there is a lack of research focused on the area, since if it were possible to quantify the results, only a minimum percentage of the inspected studies was eligible for the present research, so that this subject has great investigative potential for future work
