Estágio supervisionado: relevância para o curso de Tecnologia em Secretariado do Instituto Federal do Piauí Campus Teresina Central

Abstract

The theme developed in this article is the result of a scientific investigation related to the relevance of the supervised internship in the Higher Course of Technology in Secretariat of the Federal Institute of Piauí, Campus Teresina Central - CATCE. The research problem was structured as follows: what is the relevance of the supervised internship in the Higher Course of Technology in Secretariat of the Federal Institute of Piauí, Campus Teresina Central, for the practice of the secretarial professional? As for the objectives, the general one was to analyze the relevance of considering the supervised internship as a mandatory requirement, in the matrix of the Technology in Secretarial course of the IFPI Campus Teresina Central. As for the specifics, we established: i) to analyze the Pedagogical Political Project (PPC) of the Technology Course in Secretariat of the IFPI (CATCE), as well as of other higher education institutions in Brazil, and the current regulation of the internship; ii) identify to what extent the current structuring of the internship harms or favors the work practice of the secretaries, graduates of the IFPI, Campus Teresina Central. In terms of methodology, it is worth noting that this research is qualitative, whose data collection instruments used were a questionnaire and an interview. We conclude that, after analyzing the data, the supervised internship - in the Technology in Secretarial course of the IFPI Teresina Central - is extremely relevant and it was considered that it should be a mandatory requirement, by most of the research participants, as it favors the application, in the practice, of the theoretical knowledge acquired during the almost three years of the aforementioned graduation, before entering the job market.
