dc.description.abstractThe present study mentions harassment and sex education in the school environment of Brazilian society. The research discusses the role of the school community, the lack of education professionals' training and the laws pertaining to sex education. From this, the objective of the study is to reflect on the educational aspects regarding the theme of sexual harassment in the school environment, together with the available public policies. In view of this, the article's methodology was qualitative research, with a bibliographical approach and content analysis, where research was used on websites, articles, books, theses and legislation that address the subject. As a result, it obtained the importance of training and training of education professionals in relation to the theme, the role of Sexual Education and the Public Policies developed in schools. Based on this, it is known that education professionals are responsible for sex education in schools in conjunction with public policies. Harassment and sexual education must be addressed in a simple way to be effective, preventing and promoting sexual education in an adequate and responsible way, contributing to the formation of citizens through the guarantee of rights and human development. Therefore, the present study is of great importance for the academic community and society in general when discussing a relevant topic and the performance of teachers, since the integral formation of children and adolescents is essential in facing the challenges, taboos and limitations that the subject brings. with him, recorded in various literary works and still existing today.pt_BR

dc.description.resumoO presente estudo menciona o assédio e a educação sexual no ambiente escolar da sociedade brasileira. A pesquisa discorre sobre o papel da comunidade escolar, a deficiência da formação dos profissionais da educação e as legislações pertinentes à educação sexual. A partir disso, objetivo do estudo é refletir sobre os aspectos educacionais frente a temática do assédio sexual em ambiente escolar juntamente com as políticas públicas disponíveis. Diante disso, o artigo teve como metodologia a pesquisa qualitativa, de abordagem bibliográfica e análise de conteúdo, onde utilizou-se de pesquisas em sites, artigos, livros, teses e legislações que abordam o tema. Obteve como resultado a relavância de capacitação e formação de profissionais da educação frente a temática, o papel da Educação Sexual e as Políticas Públicas desenvolvidas nas escolas. Com base nisso, sabe-se que os profissionais da educação são responsáveis pela educação sexual nas escolas em conjunto com as politicas públicas. O assédio e a educação sexual devem ser abordados de forma simples para que seja efetiva, prevenindo e promovendo a educação sexual de forma adequada e responsável, contribuindo para a formação de cidadãos através da garantia de direitos e desenvolvimento humano. Portanto, o presente estudo é de grande importância para comunidade acadêmica e sociedade em geral ao discutir tema relevante e a atuação dos docentes, pois é essencial a formação integral da criança e do adolescente, no enfrentamento dos desafios, tabus e limitações que o assunto traz consigo, registrados em várias obras literárias e ainda existentes na atualidade.pt_BR
