A informática como disciplina no currículo da rede municipal de educação (SEMEC-Teresina), nos anos finais do ensino fundamental

Abstract

We live in what we call the digital era, due to the large consumption of electronic computing devices and the large volume of information that travels on the network (Internet) at all times. As a result, there is a very strong interference of information technology in all segments of society, from the labor market, through areas related to health, politics, services, entertainment and even education. With this, this study has the main objective of identifying the number of schools in the municipal network of Teresica (SEMEC) that have the discipline of Informatics in Elementary School final years. Such research is exploratory with a qualitative approach. To reach the proposed objectives, questionnaires were applied, informal interview and documentary analysis.. The results revealed that the discipline of Informatics/computing in public schools in Teresina (final years) is not included in the matrix of the education system; that the municipal network is promoting the inclusion of students in the digital world through virtual classrooms and the professionals who will work in the Educational Technologies Experimentation Environment Project will be trained, but teachers with a degree in Informatics/Computing will not be hired
