Abstract

Biological diversity is most often not explored in the correct way so the knowledge of the bee flora is of fundamental importance for a rational creation of bees and also for the development of sustainable beekeeping, thus being able to assist in the practices and management of apiaries, because they understand and know the bee flora of a given region and their behavior. Facilitates the development of beekeeping, thus this work aimed to make a photographic record of the bee flora of the municipality of Pedro II - PI, observing the flowering season of these species and Gathering the plant species visited by bees through photographic record and also the periods in which bee visits occur this research began from readings and bibliographic surveys that proved the visit of bees in polyniferous plants or nectarifers that are essential constituents for the feeding of these organisms and that are predominant in the region and are located in the municipality of Pedro II – PI observations occurred in the morning and afternoon, regardless of whether the bee is visiting the flower at the time of photographic registration, the plants found were of the families Anacardiaceae, Combretaceae, Fabaceae, Convolvulaceae, Fabaceae – Caesalpinioideae, Fabaceae – Mimosoideae, Anacardiaceae, then concludes - it is concluded that the municipality of Pedro II - PI, presents a great diversity of plants typical of its climate and characteristic relief and the knowledge, location and description of these vegetables, can contribute to the development and establishments of apiaries, which are important for collaborating in local preservation, in addition to contributing to the further development of this activity in the municipality.
