Abstract

The following study has as its theme, the effectiveness of mathematics teaching and learning in the final years of Current public schools, where we will present some of the factors that directly influence the appropriate learning of students. The reasons that will be addressed are: Training of the mathematics teacher, Difficulties in learning mathematics, Mathematical knowledge in everyday life, among other subjects. In which it aims to show whether there is effectiveness in learning mathematics in schools in the city, and if it does not occur, report certain obstacles that lead to this delay. The elaboration of this work was made from the read-ing of articles, publications and titles similar to this theme, so that we could gather as much information as possible to explain the low rates that will be displayed during this study. The main platforms for the search for this information were Scielo, Periódicos Capes and the Novo Qedu platform as the main search source. Therefore, a qualitative research was carried out, where it was developed through bibliographic research and it the collection of information on open data platforms. Finally, we can conclude that the teaching-learning of mathematics in the city of Current is insufficient, and has a long way to go in search of an appropriate education, where with the appropriate training of teachers, use of new teaching methodologies and a bet-ter application in the infrastructure of the schools, we will improve the low rates, and thus we will move towards a better future and a teaching of excellence bet-ter application in the infrastructure of the schools, we will improve the low rates, and thus we will move towards a better future and a teaching of excellence
