O perfil das vagas de estágio para alunos do curso de tecnologia em secretariado na cidade de Teresina - PI

Abstract

A necessary phase for building a career, the internship helps in professional improvement, promoting the acquisition of skills, knowledge of disabilities, development of technical and behavioral skills. The purpose of this scientific article was to analyze the characteristics of the internship vacancies offered to students of the Secretarial Technology course of the Federal Institute of Piauí in Teresina-PI, identifying their compatibility with the professional profile of the Secretarial Technologist. The methodology used was documentary and descriptive research. The data used were obtained through bibliographic and documentary research in books and specialized websites, which served to characterize the Secretarial professional, as well as the analysis of internship vacancies offered from January 2021 to May 2023, in the specialized department for this purpose, in the researched institution. As a result, it was observed that a little more than half of the assignments required in the internship vacancies offered to students of the Secretarial Technology course are in accordance with the current profile, but that a considerable part are compatible with the profile of the Secretarial Technician. At the end of the article, some suggestions were made, such as trade fairs, and greater integration between the student and the job market.
