dc.description.abstract This study aims to discuss the influence of the hip hop musical movement in the field of fashion and the cultural relevance of this movement today.The investigation was able to expose the origin, the emergence of the movement and the growing popularization of streetwear through the work of author Doris Treptow (2007) which explains about the propagation of trends. The study is based on a qualitative approach, having as objectives an exploratory research,being prepared from a bibliographical survey in magazines, articles, books and course completion works, in addition to teleseries and newspapers, published between 1994 and 2022.Aiming to show that the hip hop movement is one of the biggest and most influential artistic movements in the field of fashion.pt_BR
dc.description.resumo Este estudo objetiva discutir a influência do movimento musical hip hop no âmbito da moda e a relevância cultural deste movimento na atualidade. A investigação foi capaz de expor a origem, o percurso de ascensão do movimento, e a crescente popularização do streetwear através da obra da autora Doris Treptow (2007) que explica sobre propagação de tendências. O estudo se apoia em abordagem qualitativa, possuindo objetivos de pesquisa exploratória, sendo elaborado a partir de levantamento bibliográfico em revistas, artigos, livros e trabalhos de conclusão de curso, além de teleseries e jornais, publicados entre 1994 até o ano de 2022. Para a partir daí evidenciar que o movimento hip hop é um dos maiores e mais influentes movimentos artísticos no âmbito da moda.pt_BR
