Cadastro Ambiental Rural como instrumento de regularização ambiental: diagnóstico da implementação da região do alto rio Corrente

Abstract

In recent decades, issues involving the environment have been widely discussed, where this is due to the various impacts that have affected the Earth daily. Such impacts that affect both the population and the environment, led to the creation of a series of legal provisions that aim to ensure the protection of the environment. Therefore, the objective of the present study was to evaluate, through the analysis of georeferenced data, the situation of the rural areas registered in the platform of the Rural Environmental Registry (CAR) system and compliance, of these records, with the occupation of the land, with emphasis on the Upper Corrente River region in the State of Piauí. The research was carried out in the upper Corrente river region in the city of Corrente-PI. In order for the research to be carried out, a search was carried out on the platform of the National Rural Environmental Registry (SICAR), and the data collected were intended to make thematic maps of the study area as well as to compare the data provided by SICAR. with the reality available and shown to those who want to know the information of the registered lands. With this, the results showed that the records of rural properties in the upper river region on the SICAR platform have many errors and inconsistencies. This fact demonstrated the technician's inefficiency and irresponsibility both for data collection and for registering CAR properties. Therefore, some measures were considered in order to solve the errors found. One of the measures being the improvement in the SICAR platform so that it is not possible to register data with errors
