A inovação tecnológica e os desafios e oportunidades para o microempreendedor individual no cenário pós-pandemia

Abstract

The pandemic caused by the Sars Covid-19 virus, which arrived in Brazil at the beginning of 2020, caused not only health problems, but also socioeconomic ones. Companies were challenged to face something new, unexpected and challenging given the uncertainties of the pandemic and post-pandemic scenario. The individual microentrepreneur (MEI) is the type of company formalized by the Federal Government through Complementary Law No. 128/2008, which is growing the most in Brazil. The problems arising from the pandemic impacted commerce in general and, mainly, small entrepreneurs who were most affected by the pandemic due to the difficulty in maintaining the business. In view of this, the present study sought to identify the challenges and opportunities that technological innovation can bring to the individual micro-entrepreneur in the post-pandemic scenario, and from this study also describe the characteristics of the entrepreneur and report the advantages that technological innovation can bring to the Micro-entrepreneur Individual. The research methodology is descriptive and qualitative, for the development of this study a reading of scientific articles published on relevant websites, such as SPELL (Scientific Periodicals Electronic Library) and Periódicos Capes, was carried out. And to complement this, consultations in relevant books, reliable websites and laws that discuss important issues relating to the topic were also used. The main results show that companies need innovation to become competitive given the new scenario and that the lack of planning makes it difficult to manage their business sustainably.
