A inclusão digital para o aluno com síndrome de down no ambiente escolar

Abstract

New technologies are and will increasingly play a vital role in the world. Therefore, the use of the computer in school as a technological resource is an important tool for the educational process of the person with Down syndrome, the use of computers in the classroom implies rethinking the process of learning and teaching. In this perspective, the teacher needs to experience and understand the educational implications involved in the different ways of using the computer, in order to provide a creative and reflective learning environment for this student. Therefore, this article aims to: Analyze the relevance of computer use in the teaching and learning process facilitating access to the student with Down syndrome, mobilizing the pedagogical environment in order to qualify teaching, and use the resources of the internet as an appropriate tool to develop multiple intelligences. In this sense, the investigation occurred through a qualitative bibliographical research in which it contributed in the construction of the knowledge for its cientificidade. From this experience, we believe that this study brings benefits to the school area of special education or "Down syndrome". As a result, we hope: to enable teachers to reflect on the importance of using the computer for the development of learning, as well as to analyze and reflect on their actions; perceive the need for changes in their pedagogical practice.
