dc.description.abstract Currently, 7,477 species of amphibians/anurans are known in the world, Brazil having the greatest biodiversity with a total of 1,144 cataloged species, many of which are endemic species, which emphasizes the need for their preservation. The present work aims to analyze the perception of high school students in the 2nd year classes of the Federal Institute of Education Sciences and Technology of Piauí - Campus Uruçuí (IFPI), through a survey and species richness with the in order to observe how human actions and natural climatic effects affect the reproductive process of amphibians/anurans. Addressing some questions about students' knowledge about amphibians/anurans and ways to encourage them to preserve anurofauna and how the reproductive strategies of these animals occur. The scientific study was carried out through a bibliographic survey of articles, books, scientific works and digital repositories. In order to identify the main reproductive strategies of anurans. There will also be a data collection with the students in order to reduce the degradation rates in the target sites of the project. The result obtained in the present study shows that students have a certain knowledge about frogs, however most of the information is based on myths, legends and information with misconceptions that may or may not have been passed on from generation to generation. Showing the need for programs and projects that provide the community with assertive information about biodiversity and the importance not only of frogs, but of other animalspt_BR
