Perfil empreendedor: um estudo de caso no município de Angical do Piauí

Abstract

The study of entrepreneurship has gained more space in the literature and, in addition, there are studies that prove the importance of the entrepreneurial profile for a successful organization. Based on this, this article aimed to identify the dominant entrepreneurial profile in the city of Angical of Piauí through the application of a questionnaire composed of objective and subjective questions and a Likert scale used to measure entrepreneurial characteristics. To analyze the data, a content analysis was used in relation to subjective questions and a statistical method was used regarding the analysis of the Likert scale and the objective questions. The questionnaire was applied to a sample of 12% of the subjects and the results indicate that the most prominent characteristics are: persistence, demand for quality and innovation, noting that some respondents said they did not have the following attributes: planning, initiative and taking calculated risks.
