Matemática nas séries finais do ensino fundamental : metodologias para o sucesso da aprendizagem dos alunos do 6º ano

Abstract

The present work aims to address the theme of mathematics in the final grades cycle of elementary school: methodologies for the success of 6th grade students' learning. The research that led to the production of this article started from the following problem question: "which methodologies can help in mathematics learning in the final grades of elementary school?" The hypothesis is that the studied topic is widely discussed and questioned by its applicators - the teachers, so that one of the major issues elaborated and pointed out by research is the degree of efficiency of teaching methods regarding the learning achieved by students. Therefore, to understand the theme, the general objective was to present methodologies that influence the learning of mathematics in final grades of elementary school (6th grade) and, specifically, research was carried out in specific literature on mathematics teaching methodologies; it was shown how the BNCC presents methods for the development of some mathematics content for the 6th grade of the 2nd cycle of elementary school, and the methodologies addressed in mathematics learning were listed, with the focus on constructing from the methodologies. As for the type of research, a qualitative approach was taken, with an exploratory methodological approach. Data was obtained through the technique of bibliographic analysis and documentary collection
