dc.description.abstract Traffic accidents are a very serious problem in public health and have become increasingly common in our daily lives, for several reasons, among them the high growth of the automobile industry. When a traffic accident occurs it is the function of the criminal experts to carry out the expertise of these accidents, which are carried out through scientific methods to obtain the physical variables present. To obtain these variables, it is indispensable to use the laws of physics. Based on this, the present monograph carried out, through bibliographic research, the expert study of three traffic accidents in order to demonstrate the validity of the fundamental principles and laws of physics and the importance of this in the performance of skills, principle of conservation of momentum and the principle of energy conservation. The methodology used was performed by analyzing and detailing each of the proposed problems, investigating the type of collision for each of them and applying the corresponding physical laws. Therefore, we compare the results obtained with those predicted by the aforementioned principles. Thus, it was noted that, in fact, they are in accordance with the imposed laws, proving the authenticity of the laws and principles that govern Physics. In this work, we restrict ourselves to three non real examples, however, the same procedure can be used for other cases, as a way of applying the physical concepts in situations present in everyday lifept_BR
