Radioproteção em intervenções hemodinâmicas:revisão integrativa

Abstract

The present study aimed to compose an integrative review of the literature on the radiation protection measures used to reduce the occupational dose in hemodynamic interventions. The search occurred in March 2021, in the databases: PUBMED, BIREME via BVS and Web of Science. The controlled descriptors identified in the MESH and DeCS were used, using the Boolean operator AND, crossing the terms for each database. A total of 43 articles were found, with the inclusion and exclusion criteria applied, a sample consisting of 12 publications was obtained. In sequence, the studies were categorized as to the radiation protection measures used, naming three thematic categories: 1. Monitoring of doses and modernization protocols of action, 2. Protection barriers and 3. Positioning. The present study demonstrated that the interventions that were proposed punctuate basic principles of radioprotection that sometimes cease to be applied in the sectors where the research was developed.
