Impactos da interação entre família e escola no processo educacional de crianças com deficiência

Abstract

This study looks at the impact of family-school interaction on the educational process of children with disabilities. To this end, it proposes to research the importance of family and school interaction as support in the educational process in an efficient way for the development of children with disabilities, as well as investigating the positive effects caused by school-family interaction on children in special education. The efficient relationship between school and family agents enables special students to thrive. The type of scientific research that will be used to build this project will take into account other relevant work that has already been carried out, the so-called bibliographical research, carried out by surveying theoretical references that have already been analyzed and published in written and electronic media, such as books, scientific articles and websites. The result of this work has provided a new view of the subject under study, demonstrating the effectiveness of the union between family and school in the process of schooling children in special education. The importance of the family in the process of integrating children with disabilities into education breaks down a number of taboos in relation to these issues that are still prevalent in society, as many parents are unaware of the great potential that these students have, mystifying their special needs as a factor that makes their teaching and learning process impossible.
