O ensino de língua portuguesa para alunos com transtorno do espectro autista (TEA) no ensino fundamental II: uma revisão de literatura

Abstract

The inclusion of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in regular education has been gaining ground in institutions, however, in relation to research on the subject, this issue is reduced to early childhood students, that is, those who are still in the process of literacy. It is worth remembering that the discipline of Portuguese Language is of great importance in the operations of the student's language. To this end, this study aims to identify the difficulties encountered by students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the teaching of Portuguese Language, specifically. To this end, a bibliographic research was carried out in line with bibliometrics techniques, using the Google Scholar digital database to search for relevant articles on the subject. The analysis of articles published in the period from 2021 to 2022 from a search on electronic websites was carried out, as well as the main work of this analysis by Almeida (2021), which resulted in 9 (nine) final articles evaluated. The following research questions were used to categorize the articles evaluated: What are the themes addressed in the selected studies? What is the educational level that the studies emphasize? What are the challenges of including autistic students in Portuguese language teaching? It is concluded that this study provided an overview of the inclusion of students with ASD in the teaching of Portuguese language for the final years of elementary school. At the end of this research, data were obtained to identify the difficulties encountered by students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the teaching of Portuguese Language.
