Educação inclusiva: desafios, barreiras e efetivação da inclusão escolar

Abstract

The importance of having prepared and trained teachers is essential for dealing with all the differences and particularities within the school environment. Faced with the various difficulties and needs that exist in the school environment, students with disabilities are a special chapter in the school inclusion process and when the school has professionals capable of dealing with the situation, the process can take place more adequately. The aim of this research is to learn about and evaluate the challenges and possibilities of implementing school inclusion adopted by educational institutions, to characterize the challenges of including students with disabilities in the school environment, to learn about the possibilities of implementing school inclusion, to identify the benefits of inclusive policies, and to understand the importance of the support network in the inclusive process.
