Análise dos aspectos legais sobre energia solar fotovoltaica no estado do Piauí

Abstract

The constant search for sustainable development, combined with the need to diversify energy sources, has significantly intensified in recent years. In this context, renewable energy has emerged as an essential alternative to ensure energy generation with a lower environmental impact. This increase in the adoption of renewable energy has created the need for a specific legal framework in Brazil, with the establishment of regulations that encourage the use of these energy sources. Within this scenario, energy generation through photovoltaic solar power stands out as a reality, offering energy with a significantly reduced impact. In order to contribute to the understanding of this topic, the main objective of this paper is to analyze the legal aspects of photovoltaic solar energy, focusing on the centralized model. Additionally, it aims to discuss the concepts of photovoltaic solar technology, its advantages and disadvantages, and provide an overview of the current state of solar energy in Brazil, with emphasis on the changes that have occurred in the state of Piauí up until 2024.
