Produção acadêmica no curso de Tecnologia em Secretariado do IFPI, no quadriênio 2017 a 2020

Abstract

The present article aims to analyze the contributions of scientific productions of the students of the Technology course in Secretariat of the Federal Institute of Piauí (IFPI), and to investigate factors that imply in the productivity of scientific articles, justifying, therefore, in the area of Secretariat, the research is still beginner, thus needing to be more publicized: in scientific events, among professionals in the area and, mainly, in the academic scope, in order to solidify the area in the scientific field. The general objective is to analyze the productivity of scientific articles by students of the IFPI Secretariat Technology course. In this way, the following specific objectives were defined: to list the articles approved in TCC Banking of the Technology course in IFPI Secretariat in the period from 2017 to 2020; investigate the presentation of scientific production in journals and scientific events by students of the course under analysis, and; to investigate the difficulties encountered by students during the planning and execution of scientific articles by students of the Secretariat course. The research is characterized as exploratory and descriptive. To achieve the objectives set, we used data collection with open and closed questions. The aforementioned questionnaire was sent by email and / or through messages, through the WhatsApp application. 46 responses were collected, making it possible to observe the difficulty of the students in finding materials for theoretical foundation, such as: scientific productions and books in the secretarial area. Thus, it is necessary to invest more in an updated bibliographic collection, as well as investing in the Academic Institutional Base (BIA), providing students with a structure for scientific production.
