A importância da educação ambiental em ambiente escolar

Abstract

The perception manifests itself from the first contacts that man has with the environment, and this includes the environment in which he lives, the people around him, in addition to the contact with the school environment. As the school is a social space where knowledge is shared, where many behaviors or conducts are established, it becomes a space of great influence on human beings. Through a case study in a public nursery school, we sought to highlight the importance of working with environmental education in a school environment, bringing an assessment of student behavior before and after the implementation of environmental projects. With the present work, it was realized that there is still a lot to be done, regarding the training of teachers to deal with this theme, since they still have an essentially naturalistic view of the environment, which is less in-depth and globalized. With this, the importance of environmental education is emphasized and it is expected that the present work contributes to enhance the importance of environmental education, as well as schools perceive the need for environmental education and assume their role as multipliers, starting with the necessary training for greater efficiency of the projects.
