A inclusão da criança com autismo na educação infantil

Abstract

Autism Spectrum Disorder is a disorder that affects a person's communication, social interaction, and behavior. In Brazil, the number of children diagnosed with autism has been increasing significantly, and with that, there is a need to improve inclusive education, especially in early childhood education, which is a crucial phase for the child's development. The research methodology used was reading and analysis of books, texts and internet sites related to the subject related to the use of common teaching techniques and techniques that use tactics on the subject. Therefore, a documentary bibliographical research was carried out using as a basis authors who have already written scientifically on the aforementioned research theme: the inclusion of children with autism in early childhood education, among which stand out: Silva, Gaiato, Reveles (2012); Baron (1997); Lovaas (1987); Light (1989); among others. The results of the research demonstrate that, in fact, it must be done so that the inclusion of children with autism in early childhood education can be beneficial both for these children and for other students, provided that inclusive pedagogical practices are adopted that meet the specific needs of such children. . In addition, it identified the issues that hinder the inclusion of children with autism in early childhood education, as well as the educational methods that help care for children with autism.
