dc.description.abstract This study generally aimed to evaluate the response of indoleacetic acid extracted (AIA) from beans (Phaseolus vulgaris) applied to other seeds for plant growth. During the experiment, five different concentrations of IAA were applied, revealing significant variations in the results. Test 5 stood out with a 100% increase, while Test 2 saw a remarkable 58% growth. In contrast, Test 3 showed a 21% reduction, indicating a possible negative influence of AIA. The findings corroborate previous research on the positive effects of AIA on the growth of Jacarandá seedlings. However, divergences in relation to studies with gibberellic acid highlight the specificity of AIA for these seeds. Future research is recommended to determine the optimal dose of IAA in Jacarandá seeds, considering possible interactions with other growth regulators. This study contributes to the understanding of the potential of AIA as a natural fertilizer, promoting valuable perspectives for sustainable and efficient agricultural practices.pt_BR
