A inclusão do aluno surdo no Ensino Regular

Abstract

This work presents a synthesis of the research whose theme is the inclusion of deaf students in regular education. The general objective was to analyze some aspects that favor deaf students' school dropout in the context of regular education. The specific objectives were: to highlight the challenges faced by deaf students in the classroom; recognize bilingualism as a way of valuing the deaf culture present in society; explain the importance to the deaf community of all access to inclusion both in the educational context and in society as a whole. To this end, an exploratory bibliographical research was carried out, collecting information on the proposed theme for the theoretical foundation of this research. This scientific work aims to contribute to the knowledge of education professionals who work in Brazilian public schools where their audience is students with some type of hearing impairment. In this way, this study can facilitate the understanding of professionals who work in a school context where students have some hearing impairment and need to be included in school like any other person.
