dc.description.abstract The present work aims to investigate the impacts of the Institutional Teaching Initiation Scholarship Program (PIBID) on the training of students in the Mathematics Degree course at IFPI Campus Corrente. PIBID is a Federal Government initiative that aims to promote initial teacher training through the participation of undergraduate students in educational projects in public schools. The research was developed through a qualitative and quantitative approach, using documentary analysis and questionnaires. 18 people who already made up the list of participants in PIBID-Mathematics at IFPI Campus Corrente were selected to answer the questionnaire. By exploring the experiences of research participants, subsidies were created to identify the impacts of the program on academic and professional training. Obtaining a more comprehensive view of the program and its relationship with the training of students in the Mathematics Degree course is an objective achieved. The results of this research provided an in-depth understanding of the impacts of PIBID on the training of students in the Degree in Mathematics course at IFPI Campus Corrente, and also contributed to identifying the benefits and challenges faced by program participants. Through this research it is possible to stimulate discussions about the quality of teacher training and the importance of initiatives such as PIBID for improving mathematics education in the Brazilian education systempt_BR
dc.description.resumo O presente trabalho tem como objetivo investigar os impactos do Programa Institucional de Bolsa Iniciação à Docência (PIBID) na formação dos discentes do curso de Licenciatura em Matemática do IFPI – Campus Corrente. O PIBID é uma iniciativa do Governo Federal que visa promover a formação inicial de professores por meio da participação de estudantes de licenciatura em projetos educacionais nas escolas públicas. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida por meio de uma abordagem qualiquantitativa, utilizando-se análise documental e questionários. Foram selecionados para responder o questionário 18 pessoas que já compuseram a grade de participantes do PIBID-Matemática do IFPI – Campus Corrente. Ao explorar as experiências vivenciadas pelos participantes da pesquisa foram criados subsídios para identificar os impactos do programa na formação acadêmica e profissional. Obter uma visão mais abrangente do programa e sua relação com a formação dos discentes do curso de Licenciatura em Matemática é uma finalidade alcançada. Os resultados desta pesquisa forneceram uma compreensão aprofundada sobre os impactos do PIBID na formação dos discentes do curso de Licenciatura em Matemática do IFPI – Campus Corrente, e contribuiu também para identificar os benefícios e desafios enfrentados pelos participantes do programa. Através desta pesquisa é possível estimular discussões sobre a qualidade da formação docente e a importância de iniciativas como o PIBID para o aprimoramento da educação matemática no sistema de ensino brasileiropt_BR
