As dificuldades do ensino e aprendizagem de Química na Unidade Escolar Professor Mariano da Silva Neto em Francisco Santos – PI

Abstract

The present work aims to find alternatives to improve the teaching of Chemistry in the School Unit Professor Mariano da Silva Neto in Francisco Santos - PI, with the main objective to address the main difficulties of learning in Chemistry, to test tools in the teaching and learning of its students. For this purpose, a bibliographic research was conducted focusing on renowned authors such as Abreu (2009), Akahoshi (2012), Chassot (1995), Freire (1996), Lima (1996), Macedo; Lopes (2002), Silva et al. (2003), Santos (2004), Penin (2001), among others. Thus, the work in emphasis presents theoretical referential composed of five sections that is subdivided into: a brief history of the teaching of Chemistry in Brazil; the teaching of Chemistry based on the National Curricular Parameters; reflections on the difficulties presented in the teaching and learning of Chemistry; the choice of the didactic book of chemistry: contextualization of contents and the importance of practical classes in the teaching of Chemistry. Also presented are the methodological aspects adopted in the research to achieve the planned objectives. In the part of the analysis of the data were presented the analyzes and the discussions of the results obtained in the research, as well as their relations with other researches already done and with the theoretical references. Finally, it is possible to conclude that it is necessary for the professionals involved in the area to undergo a recycling so that they can work with the students with the materials that they have available in a school and can use them in the best possible way so that a improvement in teachin quality
