A utilização do repositório digital PHET como ferramenta no ensino de química orgânica

Abstract

Education and technology go hand in hand, especially nowadays, where we live in a globalized world, where there are many ways of teaching and learning from technological tools, and student. The aim of this research is to help students of the fourth year of the degree course in chemistry, in the discipline in which they feel more difficult, using technology as an object of learning. The work consists of an exploratory research of the type of case study by means of a qualitative approach, where through questionnaires applied, it was possible to analyze some data to be worked. This research was developed at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Piauí, located in the city of Picos, Piauí. In the research the target audience is twenty-five (25) students of the 4th period of the degree in Chemistry. At first the TCLE was delivered; in a second moment the students answered the previous questionnaire and finally, after the intermediation with the technological tool, the structured questionnaire was delivered. The data obtained through this research had fundamental importance for the accomplishment of this work, since from them it was possible to give emphasis and foundation to it. After the results obtained, it was concluded that the technologies used in teaching, with the purpose of assisting the students in their learning, increase the forms of knowledge and the pedagogical practices of the teachers, improving their teaching and learning processes
