A abordagem da educação ambiental no ensino de química no ensino médio

Abstract

Chemistry is a discipline of paramount importance in the curriculum of high school, rich in knowledge, and that explains many factors present in everyday life. Because it is a transversal area, chemistry is entirely linked to Environmental Education. This project aims to investigate how environmental education is approached in chemistry teaching in high school. This work was applied in a school of the state public network of the city of Luís Correia-PI that is located in rural Pinto, in the class of 3rd year "B" night, those involved in the project were the students, and the teacher of the chemistry discipline. Pre-test and post-test were applied. The results obtained through the application of the questionnaires allowed verifying the knowledge of the students and the teacher about the theme Environmental Education. And to realize that the theme is in fact still little addressed, taking into account some students report not yet knowing the theme. It is concluded that environmental education is in fact little addressed in classrooms, and that this theme is of paramount importance to society, and that it, in conjunction with chemistry can bring great benefits to the environment
