dc.description.abstract In the contemporary business landscape, the transition to a data-driven culture has become imperative for the sustainability and competitiveness of organizations. The primary objective of this study was to evaluate how companies in Floriano manage their organizational data. To this end, a quantitative, descriptive, and exploratory research approach was adopted, operationalized through a survey. Primary data were collected from 200 local enterprises and analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential tests (One-Way ANOVA, Kruskal-Wallis, Welch, and Tamhane). The results showed that data management maturity is not homogeneous, being strongly influenced by the structural characteristics of the businesses. Company size and the number of employees had a statistically significant impact on how data is managed, indicating that larger and more structured organizations have more efficient management due to a greater availability of financial and human resources. Conversely, it was found that the industry sector and the time in business do not cause significant differences in analytical maturity, demonstrating that the need for digitalization and business intelligence is a cross-cutting challenge across all markets. The study concludes that structural and resource limitations represent the main barrier to technological adoption in micro and small enterprises in the analyzed context.
