dc.description.abstract The pandemic caused by the new Coronavírus (SARS-CoV-2) has generated emergency situations in all sectors of society. Due to social isolation, in the area of Education, for example, the need for adaptation and overcoming was seen by managers, teachers and students. At that moment, there is the continuous use and adaptation of technological tools aimed at school learning, which require the active and constant presence of teachers and students. In the field of Chemistry, it is known that it is important to make the student recognize the value of science in the search for knowledge of the experienced reality and for this knowledge to be effective, it is necessary to be problematizing, stimulating and challenging. Among the strategies used to enable the teaching-learning process in the area of Chemistry, subarea Organic Chemistry - Biochemistry, one can mention gamification, with the purpose of making learning more playful and more enjoyable for students, making them learn and manage to build their knowledge. With that in mind, detailed searches for gamification strategies and tools were carried out that could be used both in remote classes, as well as in face-to-face classes. The need to create and develop an educational digital game was observed and the Scratch Media Lab MIT platform was chosen for this to be accomplished. The game created was named “Chemistry and Bacurizeiro”, Addressing the chemical contents of organic molecules, lipids and glycids worked in the discipline of organic chemistry - the 3rd grade of High School, therefore, with the intention of stimulating abstract thinking on the part of the students, as well as also thinking about valuing local and regional culture, Platonia insignis Mart., popularly known as bacuri (bacurizeiro), was chosen as a plant native to the northeast region, especially in the states of Maranhão and Piauí and, the chemical constituents present in the bacurizeiro were related to the contents of carbohydrates and lipids in the game. It is expected that this work, as well as the digital game “Chemistry and Bacurizeiro” will be of great use for the dissemination of knowledge, during and after the pandemic period of the new Coronavirus. Therefore, it is concluded that the gamification in the Teaching of Chemistry - Biochemistry, from the use of the digital game “A Química and Bacurizeiro”, through the valorization of local and regional culture, will provide the student with a good interaction with the virtual environment, building your scientific knowledge in a meaningful way and showing that Chemistry is part of your daily life.pt_BR
