Uma proposta de sequência didática para o ensino de eletromagnetismo no ensino médio

Abstract

Regarding the teaching of physics, there is a consensus among researchers that it is necessary to search for new teaching methods, in order to break with the traditional teaching model and facilitate the teaching-learning process. Given this perspective, this work aims to propose a pedagogical support material in the form of a proposal for a didactic sequence that addresses the physical principles involved in the operation of electric motors. The methodology of this activity is based on the epistemological thinking of the cognitive philosopher of education David Ausubel and his theory of meaningful learning, where he states that learning occurs when new concepts are incorporated into prior knowledge that already exists in the learner's cognitive structure. The didactic sequence proposal has a sequence of experiments made with low-cost material that should be carried out by the students to be discussed in the classroom over 5 meetings. At the end of these meetings, students are expected to be able to understand the fundamentals of electromagnetism responsible for the operation of electric motors
