Aprendizagem significativa no ensino de radiologia

Abstract

According to Moreira (2012, p. 2), meaningful learning consists of exposed ideas that share substantially and indispensablely with what the student knows, that is, it is the relationship between previous knowledge and lived experiences. In academic life, teaching based only on theory is subject to forgetfulness on the part of students, and it is necessary to find ways that encourage these students to have knowledge based also on practice. In general teaching of radiology, that is, education focused on technical level, technologist or medical specialization,there are several ways to associate the theory learned in the classroom with experimental practice, however, what is observed is a teaching based only on mechanical learning and not on meaningful learning. The student finishes his/her education without having a practical notion of how certain phenomena important to the area work. Therefore, the present work aims to expose simple practices using measurement sources and equations that involve the intensity and constant exposure of a point source, which can stimulate students during the Radiology course through meaningful learning through experiments.
