Abstract

The present work has as its central theme the teaching practice and the inclusion of students as the target audience of special education in the elementary school of the final years. It understands that, from national scientific studies, the challenges and perspectives of teachers of the final years of elementary school with regard to the process of inclusion of students as the target audience of special education in the regular classroom. To this end, it carried out a survey of scientific articles in the Google Scholar database. The discussions and reflections will be based on authors who discuss the theme of inclusion and teaching practices in regular education and its challenges and perspective. It is expected that the results will contribute significantly to the study and improvement of pedagogical practice with students with special needs, as well as reflect on the importance of inclusion and development of students in the regular education system.
