Abstract

The general objective of the work is to understand the teaching-learning process of children with autism, discussing the strategies adapted for the schooling of these children, and how and as specific objectives, to understand the meaning of inclusive education in an educational paradigm inherent to the individual; analyze the educational process for the development and learning of students with ASD and contribute to the preparation of a pedagogical approach that seeks to expand knowledge about the inclusion and adaptation of autistic students in schools. The academic work sought to identify ways to include students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the classroom and activities, so to achieve this objective, bibliographical research was chosen, which made it possible to prepare the pre-project and consequently the article, understanding that the It is important to assess qualitative aspects of some issues, such as identifying the achievements and impasses experienced by teachers in including students with ASD. The results were important to rethink the authentic meanings of inclusion, from insertion and enrollment in school and their rights, as provided for by Brazilian legislation. and as specific objectives, understand the meaning of inclusive education in an educational paradigm inherent to the individual; analyze the educational process for the development and learning of students with ASD and contribute to the preparation of a pedagogical approach that seeks to expand knowledge about the inclusion and adaptation of autistic students in schools. The study carried out seeks to show that the family is a fundamental part of the educational process of students with ASD, as family members' knowledge of the child's school history contributes to teaching and learning taking place in a meaningful way.
