O uso do laboratório no ensino e aprendizagem da física no contexto do ensino médio

Abstract

This work analyzed the benefits of using the laboratory in the process of teaching and learning Physics. Developed from the analysis of answers from questionnaires directed to students and professors. Our investigation had the general objective of “Investigating the use of laboratory activities in the teaching and learning process of Physics, in high school public schools in the municipality of Castelo do Piauí”. We looked for answers to our research problem: “Can experimental activities, in the context of basic education, significantly favor the teaching and learning process of Physics? “. We sectioned our investigation into two distinct moments. We started by investigating the professors responsible for the Physics discipline at the school where the study was carried out and, in a second moment, we conducted another investigation, this time with the students. The results show that the laboratory is used during classes, but with some difficulties along the way. Lack of materials for the experiments were identified as one of the main problems. With this work we defend the use of the Physics laboratory as essential for the construction of conscious students and with a more solid formation with regard to the teaching of Physics.
