Alfabetização e letramento: desafios e possibilidades na educação inclusiva

Abstract

ABSTRACT Literacy is the ability to use different types of written materials that circulate socially, allowing the subject to have direct contact with the various uses of reading and writing. Literacy is the beginning of the child's school education, it is also the phase that will build the basis for all theyears of school. Based on these concepts, this research will develop its context on the challenges and possibilities of literacy and literacy for special education children. We know that the process of building an inclusive school is relevant for people to have the opportunity to enjoy life in society and for education to be based on possibilities and not on differences. The great social challenge is to respect individual differences, be committed of the school collective and favor human coexistence for meaningful learning. The central objective of this work is to reflect on the challenges of the literacy and literacy process and its contribution to the inclusion of Special Education students. Through bibliographical research already in its theoretical foundation, the study prioritized a reference on the concepts of literacy and literacy in the historical context, we will also report on the challenges in the literacy process of individuals with special needs. In this sense, we will try to find out if in school environments they combine practices in the literacy process of this public, focusing on the process of acquiring reading and writing for their students, with attention in the elaboration of didactics that help in the literacy process.
