Práticas pedagógicas dos intérpretes de Libras no ensino e aprendizagem na disciplina de Química em uma escola da rede estadual de Parnaíba - PI

Abstract

An interpreter in the classroom is fundamental for a satisfactory development in the process of inclusion of deaf students. Identify the current methodologies that interpreters of LIBRAS (Brazilian sign language) have used along side with chemistry teachers in order to achieve the teaching / learning process of the student was the objective of this reseach. The study was carried out at in a state-owned public school located on São Francisco block , in Parnaíba-Piauí-Brazil. The research was carried out with two interpreters: Interpreter (IA) and Interpreter (IB).Based on the analysis of the applied questionnaires, it was concluded that pedagogical aproaching with visual stimuli optimize the learning of students. The use of scanned images and drawings were satisfactory in the teaching / learning process, because the visual language provided a greater understanding and assimilation of the subjects explained during chemistry classes. This study had as theoretical bases the thoughts of several authors such as: Saldanha (2011), Brazil (2002), Sá (1999), among others. However, it is important to know what inclusion is, how content is being passed on to the deaf students, what difficulties are presented, and the structure of this process of teaching and learning.
