Implicações teórico-práticas em um contexto de ensino e aprendizagem de física no ensino médio

Abstract

This work analyzed the theoretical-practical implications in a context of teaching and learning Physics in high school. Our investigation started from the research problem: “Can an analysis of the theoretical-practical implications in the learning of Physics of the students of the 3rd grade of high school, help us to understand the current scenario of the students in the Escola Escolar João Alves de Macedo Filho? “. The general objective of this work was to analyze the theoretical-practical implications in the learning of Physics contents by 3rd grade high school students. For this, we investigated the profile of students in the 3rd year of high school on the teaching and learning process of Physics content, we verified the connection between theory and practice during classes and, finally, we evaluated the theoretical-practical implications that emerged. this route from the perspective of the students. Some of the results we found when investigating the students were difficulties in understanding the theoretical part related to a deficient approach to the contents, in which the theory was not transmitted in a cohesive way. Another important result obtained, this one already in the practical part, was that the students reported the few opportunities to access this type of class. No experimental activities and excessive use of mathematical calculations during Physics classes.
