A Matemática e os Jogos Educativos: Uma revisão sistemática

Abstract

Mathematics is seen as abstract and focused on memorizing formulas, which leads many students to find it challenging and develop blocks, resulting in a lack of interest in the subject. From this perspective, the use of traditional methodologies in teaching mathematics increasingly distances the student from “liking mathematics”, as it distances the student from the real world. In this context, understanding how some tools, including the use of games, can contribute to mathematics teaching is of paramount importance for teaching practice. Thus, this work had the general objective of identifying the profile of the works presented in the national scientific literature about the use of games in teaching mathematics. To this end, a Specialized Literature Review research was carried out, of the Systematic Review type, whose approach was quantitative. The studies indicate that the State University of Ceará is at the forefront of the work, and the themes of Mathematics Education and Geometry Teaching are the main themes covered in the articles investigated.
