As dificuldades de aprendizagem na matemática: relatos legítimos de estudantes do terceiro ano do ensino médio

Abstract

The present study aims to analyze the greatest difficulties cited by the students during high school, the research will be carried out with the teacher acting in the mathematics discipline and with the students of the 3rd series of the regular high school of the state public school network in the city of Piauí Current. From a qualitative approach, the research used as a source of information and data collection the semistructured questionnaire with students and teacher. The authors used to construct the theoretical framework discuss preformed concepts about mathematics and learning difficulties. With the data obtained, in general, it was noticed that there are many difficulties faced by the students even after finishing high school, the lack of interest, as the students themselves report, is a factor that can lead to greater difficulty, because because they do not like the discipline, they end up becoming less and less interested in this, so the teacher needs to look for new methods to awaken in these students the desire to learn.
