Ensino-aprendizagem de frações utilizando o método do disco das frações no ensino fundamental II

Abstract

In this study, a way to attract students to learn fractions was presented using the disk method of fractions. Where The main objective was to know the difficulties that the students of the 6th year of the José Basson school in Cocal - PI had in learning fractions and developing them, using the manipulative didactic resource, an attractive and dynamic way of transmitting this content, it was possible to carry out this study. The study took place in three moments: in the first moment it was the explanation of the contents of fractions that they had already seen in the classroom; in the second moment the disc of fractions was shown and explained how it works and in the third moment the application of the questionnaire to verify if the disc helped or not in the students' learning. The results of applying the fraction disk were surprising. The head teacher of the class followed the application and really liked the methodology applied and saw that the students really learned what was transmitted. The work met the expected expectations
