Saberes docentes: um olhar sobre o desenvolvimento profissional do professor de Química

Abstract

The present research is aimed at the realization of the study on teacher knowledge of Chemistry teachers in the city of Parnaíba in the State of Piauí, since to understand the rapid social changes in what concerns the function of the school, it is necessary to go to Teaching Institutions order to investigate pedagogical practices, mobilization of knowledge of the profession, etc. Thus, the purpose of the proposal was to investigate the teaching knowledge acquired by chemistry teachers during their pedagogical practice. For that, a qualitative descriptive research was carried out, involving an interview and application of a questionnaire with five Chemistry professors from three Public Education schools in the city of Parnaíba-Pi. Thus, the results showed relevant aspects of the teaching profession, in which teachers recognize the importance of constantly reflecting on practice, what needs improvement in order to achieve more meaningful results, effectively include each student and study different ways of dealing with In order to do this, they mention pedagogical knowledge as essential for strengthening teaching and learning, making the lesson more dynamic and, throughout the experience, learn much more about the contents of Chemistry in an interdisciplinary, innovative and the daily life of the students.
