AULAS PRATICAS COM O TEODOLITO: Contribuições para a aprendizagem de relações trigonométricas no triângulo retângulo

Abstract

The present work aims to analyze the contributions of the use of practical classes with theodolite in the teaching of trigonometric relations in the right triangle, just as the teachers' conceptions about its use. For the development of the work, a research was carried out with a qualitative and quantitative approach, which consists of two forms that aim to gather data about the methods used by teachers in their classes and their conceptions about the possibility of carrying out practical classes with the theodolite teaching Trigonometric Relations in the Right Triangle, as well as an explanatory workshop on the use of theodolite in mathematics classes. It is emphasized that all participants believe that practical classes with theodolite can help in the Trigonometry teaching, either in the context of the content or in the motivational aspect of the students. In contrast, teachers emphasize that for this teaching strategy to be viable, some conditions must be attended. Among the conditions, stands out the construction of theodolite, the materials for the construction, the classes’ organization, the opportunity for all students to participate in the activity, the availability of classes and teacher time and the appropriate places for carrying out the experience mentioned.
