dc.description.abstract We know that Mathematics is present in our daily lives and even children when they enter school already have a pre-defined concept of numbers or simpler mathematical operations. Mathematics becomes relevant in all areas of knowledge, but we observe that some students have difficulty learning basic concepts of mathematics and this affects their school development. In this article, we talk about Dyscalculia, which according to Garciá (1998) is defined as a neurological turbulence that affects a person's ability to handle numbers. The present research is of a bibliographical nature, having a selection of readings in a critical and reflective way, seeking an in-depth study on the mathematics teacher facing the student with Dyscalculia. We conclude through the bibliographic review that it is necessary to identify the disorder and the search for joint action of professionals in favor of the student's development.pt_BR
dc.description.resumo Sabemos que a Matemática está presente no nosso cotidiano e até mesmo as crianças ao entrar na escola já tem um conceito pré-definido de números ou operações matemáticas mais simples. A Matemática se torna relevante em todas as áreas do conhecimento, mas observamos que alguns alunos apresentam dificuldade em aprender conceitos básicos da matemática e isso afeta o seu desenvolvimento escolar. Falamos no presente artigo sobre a Discalculia, que segundo Garciá (1998) é definida como uma turbulência neurológica que afeta a capacidade de uma pessoa em manejar números. A presente pesquisa é de natureza bibliográfica tendo uma seleção de leituras de forma crítico reflexiva buscando um estudo aprofundado sobre o professor de matemática frente ao aluno com Discalculia. Concluímos através da revisão bibliográfica que se faz necessário a identificação do transtorno e a busca da ação conjunta de profissionais em prol do desenvolvimento do educandopt_BR
