Geogebra na potencialização do ensino de geometria espacial: uso no cálculo de área e volume na 3ª série do ensino médio

Abstract

The theme of this work is to enhance the teaching of Area and Volume using GeoGebra in the 3rd year of high school. The main objective is to analyze the potential of GeoGebra in teaching Area and Volume in Spatial Geometry in the 3rd year of High School. To achieve the objectives of this exploratory research, initially a bibliographical study was carried out to list the importance of Spatial Geometry in the curriculum and learning, then, with 30 students from the 3rd year of High School, a diagnostic questionnaire was applied where a survey was made of the main learning difficulties in spatial geometry content and knowledge of GeoGebra. In the next stage, a workshop was held demonstrating the tool's applicability to the concepts of Area and Volume of Solids, ending with a second questionnaire to assess the level of learning with GeoGebra. The expected results indicated that students had difficulty learning the content, as a significant part had no contact with Spatial Geometry, consequently in visualizing and interpreting the figures and their concepts. On the other hand, the use of GeoGebra improved visual capabilities, as it allows manipulation and complete visualization of the figure. Finally, it was noticed that GeoGebra increases knowledge of Area and Volume, as it allows you to manipulate, visualize and plan, so that the characteristics of each figure can be explored in a more intuitive way.
