A Matemática no 6° ano do ensino fundamental na unidade escolar municipal em Salgada: o ensino das quatro operações

Abstract

This article analyzes the methodologies and didactic resources used by a teacher when working the four mathematical operations in the Municipal School Unit in Salgada, located in the municipality of Dirceu Arcoverde, in the State of Piauí. In order to reach the general objective, the following specific objectives were outlined: Identifying the methodologies and teaching resources used by the teacher when working with the four mathematical operations in the 6th year of Elementary School and Understanding how the teacher develops the teaching of the four mathematical operations. As a theoretical basis, authors such as: D'Ambrósio (2005), Grando (2004), Prestes (2015), Carvalho and Vinholi Júnior (2021), Libâneo (2013), among others, were used. The adopted research was based on the qualitative approach, of the exploratory type, having as technical procedures the field research and interview, which had the questionnaire as instrument. The subject investigated was a mathematics teacher at that school. The research made it possible to conclude that the teacher develops, even with limitations, some methodologies such as the game and problem solving and makes use of didactic resources such as the book, poster and the multiplication table as a support. However, she does not have training in the area and the Municipal Secretariat does not offer training to teachers in the education network.
