A importância de aulas práticas para o ensino de Química no colégio estadual Senador Chagas Rodrigues (CESCR) na cidade de Parnaíba - PI

Abstract

Faced with the development of science and technology nowadays, science education has been demanding from teachers methodologies and strategies that favor significant emancipatory lear ning. Faced with the challenges posed by the current reality of secondary education, especially the occurrence of disappointments and avoidance, we believe that the use of practical classes allows a greater contact between the student and teacher, favoring an efficient learning, allowing the student to take an interest in the study, obtaining success in their academic process. In this sense, we present the monographic research that deals with the theme of the importance of practical classes for the teaching of Chemistry, with the objective of analyzing the importance of developing practical classes in the teaching of Chemistry in the State College Senador Cha gas Rodrigues (CESCR) in the municipality of Parnaíba-PI. The research developed for this study was of a qualitative nature that is defined by obtaining information from observations with the contribution of the participants about their experiences. The theoretical contribution to support the research included authors such as Libâneo (1994), Nunes and Adorni (2010), Trevisan and Marins (2006), among others. The results showed the pedagogical practices de veloped by teachers, the use of contextualization and, above all, the perception of an awareness of the relevance of experimental classes as a means of obtaining a greater incentive and con sequently a greater efficiency of the teaching-learning process. It was also verified through the answers obtained from the students that the experimental classes are the most helpful factor in the learning of Chemistry. Therefore, it is concluded that it is necessary to adopt methodologies that favor the articulation between theory and practice so that the teaching of Chemistry offers conditions through which the student understands the contents in an easy way and perceives the application of the same in the daily life, and , above all develop the scientific spirit.
