| Resumo: | Um marco evolutivo para o ser humano prevenir agentes infecciosos foram as vacinas, capazes de revolucionar a história da saúde pública a partir do controle de doenças infecciosas, apesar de toda a relevância que os imunizantes possuem, as fake news sobre as vacinas são divulgadas com frequência nas mídias digitais, influenciando uma parte da população a não se vacinar, a partir do exposto, este trabalho objetivou analisar a percepção dos alunos do Ensino Médio sobre a importância das vacinas e os seus conhecimentos acerca do impacto das fake news na vacinação. Para alcançar o objetivo proposto foi realizada uma pesquisa de opinião pública a partir da aplicação de um questionário com perguntas objetivas para 187 alunos matriculados no Ensino Médio da rede pública de ensino, logo após a aplicação dos questionários, os resultados foram interpretados em gráficos para uma melhor compreensão. Desta forma, obteve-se com esta pesquisa que uma parte condideravel dos alunos que participaram da pesquisa reconhecem a eficacia e a importância das vacinas para a sua saúde e também para a erradicação de doenças infecciosas, além disso, foi mencionado pela maioria dos estudantes que eles já haviam recebido notícias sobre vacinas e depois descobriram que eram uma fake news e, portanto, eles conhecem pessoas que já se recusaram a se vacinar, por acreditarem que as vacinas podem causar doenças. Tendo em vista os aspectos observados é considerável a criação de iniciativas por parte das instituições de ensino para melhorar a adesão às campanhas de vacinação, desmistificando mitos e informações. |
| Abstract: | An evolutionary milestone for human beings to prevent infectious agents were vaccines, capable of revolutionizing the history of public health from the control of infectious diseases, despite all the relevance that immunizers have, fake news about vaccines is disseminated frequently in digital media, influencing a part of the population not to be vaccinated, based on the above, this work aimed to analyze the perception of high school students about the importance of vaccines and their knowledge about the impact of fake news on vaccination. In order to reach the proposed objective, a public opinion survey was carried out from the application of a questionnaire with objective questions to 187 students enrolled in High School of the public teaching network, shortly after the application of the questionnaires, the results were interpreted in graphs for a better understanding. In this way, it was obtained from this research that a considerable part of the students who participated in the research recognize the effectiveness and importance of vaccines for their health and also for the eradication of infectious diseases, in addition, it was mentioned by most students that they had already received news about vaccines and later found out that it was fake news and, therefore, they know people who have already refused to be vaccinated, believing that vaccines can cause disease.
